This program is for students interested in a career in medicine or biomedical research. Program is 7 weeks and includes room & board, a living allowance, and 8 semester hours of BIO credit. Friday, February 1, 2013: DEADLINE to apply for the Early Assurance Acceptance Program – R.O.S.E. Program offered by the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Participate in Research, Observation, Service and Education. Program is open to sophomores & juniors who are residents of Ohio and select Kentucky or Indiana counties. Friday, February 1, 2013: DEADLINE to apply for the Summer Surgery Experience and/or the Summer Neuroscience Experience, both offered by the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Program is for high achieving undergraduate pre-med students who are current sophomores or juniors. You may apply for both programs, but only attend one. These 10-day experiences include cadaver dissection, didactic lectures, hands-on labs, shadowing and more. Tuition is $650 and on-campus housing is available for $450.
